Ina Garten is an American chef and author, as well as the host of Barefoot Contessa on the Food Network.

With no formal training as a chef, that hasn’t stopped her amassing a $50 million fortune from the industry.

After being inspired by cookbooks from Time-Life, Ina sought out the feedback and criticism from friends and family to help refine her recipes, before launching her gourmet food store, Barefoot Contessa, and her series of cookbooks.

All of her success has led her to amass a net worth of around $50 million.
